It’s time to bring out the Colors!!!
My polish of the day is Exotic Green by Sinful Colors. This is a rich green colors that’s great for the spring and would be a nice canvas for some beautiful spring artwork.
Sinful Colors in $1.99 at Walgreens.
A really nice mushroom brown color from Sinful Colors. This is a perfect fall/winter color that I chose to wear while I attend an all day meeting at work. This color won’t bring any stairs but its a really beautiful color.
I applied two coats and the polish goes on even and dries with no streaks.
Sinful Colors polishes are only $1.99 at Wal-greens and they come in a wide array of different colors.
Make sure you check them out the next time you shop at Wal-greens!

Wal-Greens Drug Store has their SinFul Colors fingernail polishes on sale for $.99. Every now an then Wal-Greens will have these polishes on sale and I always try to pick up a few new colors that I don’t have.
Sorry, but today is the last day of the sale. You still have time, so jump up and run to the store! But if you don’t make it then the polishes are only $1.99 every other day. That’s not too bad for these really nice colors.
I only purchased four. From left to right, Forget Now, Nirvana, Cinderella and Glass Pink.
Let me know if you purchased any and the colors!

While I was checking out the latest nail polishes at Wal-Mart, I ran across this Nail Aid product. It’s 3 Minute Artificials and it boasts that it makes nails as hard as gels. Needless to say, I was intrigued. Who doesn’t want harder, stronger nails? Right? So I purchased the product for $4 and couldn’t wait to test it out. There’s 11x gel power and the packaging states that there’s no mess, just brush it on and you’ll have gel-like nails fast.
To apply, you’ll need to start with clean and dry bare nails, apply one coat, allow to dry then pally a second coat. If you use nail color like I do then you want to use one coat of 3 Minute Artificials as a base coat, apply one to two coats of color and finish up with the 3 Minute Artificials as a top coat.
My review of the product.
The polish does apply smooth and even and my nails were slightly harder. Like gel nails? I don’t think so. However, if you have really soft and brittle nails then I’m sure this product will help your nails be harder and keep them from breaking.
The top coat was shiny and helped my polish to stay intact. The polish didn’t chip until about day 4, which is pretty much the standard for me anyway, if I wear my polish that long.
The one main thing that I don’t like about the 3 Minute Artificials, is that the drying time for my nail polish is extended. The polish will look dry, feel dry and I will think the polish is dry, jump in the bed and wake up with designs from the bed covers on my nails. That is SO not cute. Next time i will give my nails more time to dry between coats.
Other than that one issue with the product, the hardner does pretty much what it states it will do at an inexpensive price.
Product specifics Made in the USA, .55 fl oz/16ml, no DBP, no Famaldehyde, no Toluene, no camphor
My polish of the day is Steel-her Heart by Revlon. This polish is a metallic charcoal steel with matching shimmer that I pulled down from the shelf today. This is a nice fall color and I used two coats for this look. I probably could have used another coat for a real deep grey but I’m pretty satisfied with the outcome. Let me know what you think.
Happy polishing,

This manicure color is a true keeper! I decided to rock Wet-n-Wild, I Need a Refresh-Mint from the Megalast collection for a few days. The polish is a mint green that starts off a little streaky but finishes with a nice smooth shine after two or three coats. This polish has the new ManiCurve Pro Brush which helps speed up applicaiton time because the brush is wider and fuller than the usual brushes. I like! What about you?
Happy Polishing,
Sleek Nails
These are swatches of the beautiful Wet-n-Wild polishes that I purchased last week from Walgreens. These polishes are well pigmented but do go on a little streaky. I purchased three pastel colors and three darker colors that are great for the spring. To accomplish the look for the swatches, I used three layers of each polish. Make sure to let me know what you think!

I was in Walgreens when I saw the new Wet-n-Wild fingernail polishes display. I just couldn’t walk by without picking up a few colors. And luckily Walgreens had a buy2 get 1 free sale on the polishes. I purchased 4 at $1.99 each and got 2 free.

The new Wet-n-Wild colors are amazing but I think it’s the new bottle design that really caught my eye. The bottle is designed to look more like a salon nail polish with raised letters on both sides of the bottle, similar to Essie polishes, and a silver ring that separates the dark handle from the beautiful color in the bottle. The brush is also different, the Manicurve Pro Brush should provide more coverage with less strokes because the wand is wide and flat with wide
brushes that are curved at the edges, similar to Sally Hansen Insta-Dri brush.
I will be doing swatches on each of these colors so check back for that.

I was in Walgreens the other day and saw a couple of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri nail polishes that just caught my eye, Quick Brick and Night Flight. Both colors are great colors for winter and I just couldn’t wait to try them on. Sally Hansen boasts that the Insta-Dri polishes are fast drying and that one stroke should apply one coat.
Review of polish
The brush bristles are very wide but the one stroke motion didn’t quite work for me. I have large fingers and had to use two to three strokes, which ended up being a little too much polish for my nail bed. The polish would just flood my cuticles and caused me to be frustrated. I took a deep breath and started over. This time I removed as much polish from the brush as possible before I started polishing. I polished one stripe up the middle and then one
on each side and the polish did great.
The polish is well pigmented and spread evenly. I did have to use two coats of the Night Flight polish but one coat of Quick Brick was sufficient.
